Marina is a life-long Bay Area resident, yogini mama and lover of all that is wild. Her slow moving vinyasa classes are alignment-rich, creative, and meant to honor and celebrate each students unique body landscape and relationship to yoga. Her teachings integrate elements of somatic movement, follow seasonality and include various meditation, mudra and pranayama techniques. Her major influences have been Rod Stryker, Bryan Kest and Abby Tucker, with whom she's studied extensively. Before Marina became of student of yoga, she received her BA in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley, where she cemented her ongoing passion for social justice. Her day to day life is spent mostly at home rearranging furniture for fun, adventuring through local woodlands & lakes, mountain biking, failing at gardening & smashing the patriarchy. Join her in enlivening your senses through yoga, travel, connection, knowledge and play!
